Sometimes it seems that there is every reason to give up hope on the church of our generation. I have been so heart-sick longing for Revival and sometimes it seems as if it will never happen. We have literally been contending hours a week and gathering with the body of Christ for3 years on a monthly basis in our city and still the promised breakthrough doesn't seem to come. Yet on a night like tonight hopelessness is dashed, light breaks in and we are reassured that He is coming!!!
Its 12 a.m. Saturday morning and there are group of desperate radicals crying out to the Lord prophesying that "He is Coming!" The atmosphere is absolutely electric with prophetic expectation of the coming in-breaking of His power into the earth. Young people are dancing with wild abandon as if an unseen hand is shaking them as the band is singing, "Wake up!" "Wake up!"
Seasoned intercessors are swaying and groaning with intercession! "He is coming!" the band cries out! The atmosphere is pregnant with expectation of the awakening! In the midnight hour He has a remnant hidden away, crazy enough to pray all night and prepare the way for the coming of the King! "He's Coming! He's coming"--the band proclaims!
A shift! A Break-through! Surely the Great awakening is upon us!
